Fresh Inspiration: Fasting Week One From the Archives
Many of us are currently engaged in a season of fasting and prayer, either on our own or with our churches. Although Shades of Grace is not posting new, Pursuit 21 content each day as we have in the past, there are hundreds of articles on the site that can encourage us in prayer during these days of fasting.
Week one of the fasting archives contains over 65 articles. I’ve listed them below and grouped them by day for your convenience. (Aside from Day One, the articles apply to every day of the fast, though, not just the day they were posted.)
I have also included over fifty articles and devotions on prayer!
The content in these posts will guide and motivate you as you pray—and give you tips and direction that will help you keep your fast and get the most from it.
This webpage will be an excellent resource for you during week one of the fast. So bookmark it and refer back to it for each day’s corresponding content.
May the Holy Spirit lead you to the articles He wants you to read. May He speak to you and give you a fresh, timely word. May He encourage you, motivate you, and excite you as you fast and pray. May He reward you as you draw near to Him, believing that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! (Heb. 11:6)
**As you fast and pray, Shades of Grace would treasure your prayers for our ministry — for anointing, for expansion, for God to provide His chosen staff members to help us fulfill His call, which will enable us to branch out to new avenues of ministry and walk through the doors God has recently opened. I would also personally appreciate your prayers for my health. (I have been sick for two years with Long Covid and reactivated Lyme Disease. Last fall, I turned a corner and began to improve. But consequently, there is now much to catch up on at Shades of Grace. That’s the reason I am not writing new content for this season of fasting. Thank you!
